About the Session
You know that today’s business education has to help business owners meet 21st century challenges. But how much of it actually does? As well as running successful and profitable businesses, business owners are increasingly expected to help address some of society’s biggest challenges-all while looking after their wellbeing, doing business ethically, and having a positive impact on people and the planet.
The Prosocial Entrepreneur training programme is designed to help them do just that. Underpinned by research and tried and tested business education and training materials, the programme will enable you to guide business owners/business students on how to combine making a profit with looking after themselves, their community, the wider society, and the planet.
This Taster Session introduces the programme and how it could work for you and your business owner clients/business students.

- An introduction to the course and the research that underpins it
- How the programme was designed and trialled
- The rationale behind the curriculum
- An introduction to some of the course materials
- How learning can be assessed
- What your role will be as you guide business owners/business students through the units

By the end of the session, you will have a better understanding of the Prosocial Entrepreneur programme and how you can introduce it to your clients or students in a way that best meets their needs and/or the learning outcomes they’re looking for.
